This August will be 42 years of marriage, but it all began in high school for these two love birds. “The secret to our long lasting marriage?
First, no one else could stand us, but it made us huddle together.
Second, our lives and our families lives are so intertwined that we couldn’t imagine one without the other.
Last, I would say love is sustained by our mutual respect, having a good sense of humor, keeping a little mystery, and of course the element of surprise. Just as the 70’s song “Still the One” by the Orleans says; ‘you’re still the one that I dream about, we’re still having fun and you’re still the one’.”
