What NOT to do on an Airplane!

Posted on May 20 2019

I've always LOVED traveling - anywhere, anytime, any place.  When I was a kid, our mode of transport was the family car.  My parents would wake us up at 2:00 am and still in pajamas, pile us into the backseat of our sedan to get an early start.  My sister would be back to sleep immediately.  I, on the other hand, would position myself on the edge of the back seat leaning forward between my parents' heads for an unobstructed view of the road (and adventure) ahead (this is pre-seatbelts, mind you).  Watching the sun rise and seeing the world come to life in front of me was magical. I didn't want to miss a thing!

It was no surprise to anyone that I would join the airlines after college.  My domestic adventures could now expand around the world.  After 10 years as a flight attendant and many more traveling for work and pleasure, I'm about as experienced a traveler as you'll find.

When my friends and I talk about flying, our conversations always seem to turn to the things that annoy us most about air travel.  So, when I received this blog post  this morning, I opened it immediately.  As I read each "thing you should never do on an airplane flight" I nodded in agreement with each and every point made by the author.  I've included the link here to help spread the word and hopefully make air travel more enjoyable.  Oh, and I'd like to add one more thing: never, NEVER polish your fingernails on an airplane!  Enough said.
