While the underlying base of the stone is a rich midnight blue, it explodes with flashes of molten gold, vivid green, and fiery red whenever it catches the ambient light.

I set this mysterious gem into a darkened silver bezel, framing it with decorative gallery wire soldered right along the crown to act as a series of intricate, ornamental accents.
